Ceramic Infrared

The Ceramic Infrared Euroheaters is an efficient heat source for many industrial and comercial applications, the Ceramic Infrared Heater is available in an array of sizes and modules. Underwriter's Laboratories component recognition is available on many of the items shown. Parabolic or flat profiles, square, retangular or round shapes, mounted in housings or panels, the Ceramic Infrared Heaters can easily be installed and arranged to produce heat patterns limited only by the imagination of the designer.

1. Features & Benefits:
  • Surface temperature to 750 °C.
  • Mid-to-far wavelength infrared heat source provides uniform heat over a large area.
  • Primary emission in the 2 - 10 micron range (no visible light), which is the most efficient wavelength for heating of platics, paper, textiles and drying of most solvents.
  • Available with built-in type K thermocouple.
  • 1 year warranty against burnout(Estimed life in excess of 10,000 hours)
  • Available in 122 x 60 mm, 245 x 60 mm, and 122 x 122 mm sizes.
  • Provides perfectly repeatable performance.
  • Clean, non-contaminating, heat operation.
  • Glaze-coated ceramic body with no surface flaking or oxidation as on metal sheath elements.
  • Easily arranged in large arrays that may be set up and controlled in zones.
  • Iron alloy element wire provides longer life than nickel-chrome alloy wires.
  • Resistant to thermal shock. Heaters are not damaged if hit by water spray.
  • Operating life over 10,000 hours minimizes machine downtime
2. Characteristics:
  • Effciently emits radiant energy
  • Corrosion and oxidation resistant
  • Peak energy wave length of 2-10 microns
  • Modular panels available
  • Modules and panels can be zoned
  • Available with type J or type K thermocouple
  • 4 inch ceramic bead insulated leads
3. Ceramic Infrared Heaters

EUROHEATERS can approach Infrared Heating application with a wider choice of heat sources than most manufacturers or suppliers.Operating in the medium-wave length range, energy produced by EUROHEATERS infrared heat products can be used for virtually any heating, drying and curing process. Temperatures can be accurately controlled and matched to the ideal absorption characteristics of the material being heated. Much information is presented in the Engineering and Technical Section on how to apply infrared heat. EUROHEATERS has vast exoerience and can provide extensive assistance in designing a new, or retrofitting and existing infrared heating system.

4. EUROHEATERS Ceramic Infrared Heaters are used many industrial, such as:
  • Paint drying
  • Vacuum forming
  • Thermoforming
  • Preheating or vulcanizing
  • Laminating
  • Plastic welding
  • Preheating welding seams
  • Shrink packaging
  • Resin curing
  • Shrink packaging
